I’m an American woman, mother of four, writer, explorer and traveler. I’ve lived abroad—residing in 4 different countries—for almost two decades, during which time I raised two amazing daughters. At this time, with my daughters now raised, I am settled in London, England, with my life mate, Egil (AKA the biking viking) who bikes 22 miles a day—rain or shine, wind or whatever—and does it with a smile.

Finding my path took a bit of doing … at the moment I appear to be quite settled in, comfortably retired just across the river from Loudoun and amiably amusing myself crafting in wood and performing weakly on the sax … but change is coming, worldwide, isn’t it …how is London these days?

Hey EuroYank, so sorry for my delayed response. I am still blogging but have been really remiss in recent months as I am once again preparing to move! But this time will, hopefully, be a move into my forever home—Good Lord Willin’ and The Creek Don’t rise, as the saying goes.
